A number of years ago I purchased a "B" stock Sony DNW7 Beta SX (not SP) camera. It had been a display model at a few trade shows for Sony. I saved quite a bit on the price and it came with the same/full warranty that came with a new camera. If I had not seen the camera before purchasing I may not have gone this route. But, since it was in pristine condition it was a "no brainer."
The camera served me well for a number of years until I moved into the HD realm. The camera paid for itself many times over.
