Brett,

Rebates can take a while to get. I waited 5 months for my rebates to arrive. Be patient, they will eventually come but don't wait holding your breath. Go shoot and before you know it.... there it is. :)

Same boat except I'm only two weeks in. Still waiting on that magic email after registering.

If it gets too close to the time frame I'm just going to mail in my invoice and the page panasonic sent me after registering. I will not be getting screwed on this rebate. :)

Mine was about 5 weeks to get the registration and another 5 weeks to get the check.

I guess that counts as a week or so.

I registered for the 5 year warranty Oct 10th and haven't gotten the certificate as yet either.

I'm approaching 2 months from purchase/registration and still no email with the additional information I need to get my rebate.

What takes so long? This is a bit ridiculous.

is there a number we can call or something? Is this some trick where they dont send you the proper info until the rebate time has expired?

2 weeks in and no email. I even tried the magic words, and a genie came out, but no email certificate. If it lags too long, try:

the Panasonic Rebate HelpDesk at (866)339-4296

I finally got my 5-year warranty certificate (2 months after registering), but only after I submitted a support request.

They said I was emailed the certificate back in September, but despite my diligence of monitoring my INBOX and SPAM folders, I never saw it. They sent me a duplicate.

But, I got it 59 days after registration. The "fine print" says they must receive the rebate information no later than 60 days after purchase. I sent it in anyhow. Hopefully they won't reject me.

If they really wanted us to have the $500 rebate, they'd just knock it off the price, or make it easier and quicker to submit it for all parties involved.

Mail-in rebates are such a scam. One comma out of place and you're rejected. I think companies plan on a small percentage not meeting the requirements (or just forgetting to send it in) so they don't have to give out the money to everyone, but still say there is a rebate.
