Hey all... so just recently one of my HVXs started having a strange problem:
In the medium wide range on my lens I hear a faint sort of whirring as if the autofocus servo is trying to kick in (While I'm in manual focus) and when this happens my focus starts to slip. The problem is intermittent and I can certainly compensate for it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them, and if they've had it repaired where and how much?
I've heard some people say that their lens repairs run in the range of $1700-$2000 and I want to know if thats what I've got to swallow. Blargh.
