Hey everyone! We filmed this in one day at the beginning of August. I've been slacking on getting the editing all done, and it just got finished up the other day. Turned out great considering how much time we spent filming!!

i always do the same thing. i shoot it ahead of time, and then procrastinate the editing to the last minute. i hope it turned out well for ya, good luck.

Thanks for the comments, good luck to you guys too!

Defcon: yea the hardest part for me this time was making all the music. I've never composed all the music for one of my movies before, and its tough to get inspired, haha!

i always start my music composing at the start of the project. i design the poster and start writing the music. that way you can "feel" your way through the project. thats how sergio leone did his movies,a nd the good the bad and the ugly is one of my favs of all time.

It was funny, so I hope you intended it to be. I certainly can't say we didn't enjoy it.

haha yea, we weren't really trying to make it funny while shooting, but it definitely ended up that way! In fact all of my movies usually turn out pretty silly. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Just so ya know, one of my leads LOVED your pig-monster... she actually took a picture of him from the TV and made it her cellphone wallpaper! :)

Haha thats awesome! I showed the mask to my cat, and he hissed at it, so I took that as a good sign!

This was funny and sad all in 6 minutes. Poor pig thing.

I liked the "drawing-to-life" concept, I wished you had used a real Artist charcoal pencil instead of a regular pencil, that's just me.

It was hokey by all accounts and when the girl screamed I could swear she was smiling - lol.

I wish the pig mask wasn't a pig mask. Or if it had been removed, perhaps we could see another monster. But, since the mask was definitely a mask, I wish you guys took a bit of time to at least hide that it was a mask. or perhaps find some hoofs. For some reason walking bags of pork scare me.

Thanks for entering and looking forward to the next entry!

Actually, that's a good point Charli, and one I meant to make as well... it was hard to see the actual drawings because of the pencil. A charcoal pencil would have helped this quite a bit.

Well, lots to take from this and move forward in the next fest.
Try and keep some continuity in your scenes. Sound is also important. Try and clean it up a bit, it can be done. Put some background sound in.

Get more coverage and plan out some of your shots.

The pig guy was actually kind of creepy. Keep at it and you will improve.

Take care,

Mike

I like the twist at the end, that was nice.... One question I think when the pig kills the guy you can see what looks like a camera in the background?...not sure there is smoke, hehe.

I haven't read any of the comments but if you meant this to be funny you did a really really good job.

If you didn't, then you still did a really good job because we had a lot of fun watching this anyway.

thanks for showing.

Haha yea, when we were reviewing the footage, one guy on the cast thought it looked like she was screaming for the jonas brothers, not screaming for her life!

Yeaaa, thats our tripod in the background. It was painful watching that over and over while editing haha!

To everyone else: Thanks for the comments!! We're glad you enjoyed it!

Oh this!!! This had me chuckling - its performed somewhat poorly, with abrupt changes in story, inconcievable character reactions, juvenile over-acting, and an insanely ridiculous monster!

Oh and the least convincing murder i've ever seen depicted on film (the old casually pushed one hand cushion technique isn't easy!)

And the NOoooOooooo in the mirror could easily compete with Trolls 'then there gonna eat meeeee'

Yet distrubingly its (albeit overexposed often) not horrifically shot, i mean there is obviously competent talent in composition, shooting, editing on display so why its been invested ino this montage of mediocrity and amusing oink related horror is beyond me!

But admittedly its a guilty delight :)
