Looking for a bit of advice on which lenses are the right to keep out of this lot:

Up for adoption from the 'lens family' are:

Zeiss 28mm F2.8 T* Distagon
Zeiss 25mm F2.8 T* Distagon
Zeiss CF 80mm F2.8 T* Distagon for Hasselblad medium format
Zeiss 135MM F2.8 T*
Sigma 17-35mm F2.8 DG EX HSM

Beyond doubt I plan to keep in my bag:

Zeiss 85MM T* F1.4
Zeiss 50MM T* F1.7
Sigma 28mm F1.8 DG Macro
Canon 70-300MM F4-5.6 EF IS

With just those 4 you can kinda cover all the bases - low light, wide, portrait, telephoto, macro and image stabliser - just not all in the same barrel

All the Zeiss are Contax Yashica mount, made in West Germany, they're not the newer type. I'm using a 5D Mark II, so unfortunately the 30mm Sigma F1.4 is not an option and I'm keeping the 28mm because of it's speed and macro.

Am I making a mistake getting rid Distagons? And is there something really special about the Zeiss 135mm which I should think about before selling it? To my eye, so far, I can't detect anything when compared to the amazingness of the 85mm F1.4

Also any recommendations for a good walk-around wide / zoom with IS and a super wide, say 16 or 17mm or 20mm?
