View Full Version : Problem with images from Aaton A-mimina

Hi,

We borrowed an Aaton A-mimina, for a short film. Just got the film back from the lab, and its got a bit of a problem:

This blue thing is in all the shots from all the camera (only used one mag)

The lens just came off the red, so was working fine, no loose iris blades or anything like that.

The viewfinder was locked off, so theres no light leaks through there

I checked the gate when I threaded the camera, and could see nothing in there, definatly not anything this big.

The stock is Kodak Vision 2, lens was a superspeed.


Any help would be great.

It looks like light leaked through the viewfinder but if you say it was locked. I would inspect the mag and changing bag. Could have messed up during processing too.

light leak. definintly. you can tell because its the same color temprature as the image youre shooting. that light contaminated the film.
