What's it like using the DVRig Junior (http://www.dvtec.tv/id3.html) with a DSLR and manual focus?
How much does it stabilize for standing vs walking shots?
Does the spring loaded support pod flex much in each horizontal direction? From the website pictures it doesn't look like the same spring support as the higher end models. Is this so?
I've had the Merlin before, and I know this is not a gimble based stabilizer. I would be doing both wide and telephoto motion capture of my kid (she moves around a lot).
