Here's our small night shot test with a bit of fight choreography thrown in to test the rolling shutter. I am extremely impressed by the 7d. ISO 6400 is very noisy (as expected) but the noise has a surprisingly good looking texture. ISO 3200 is very usable. Also the banding effect that was on the 5d seems to be a lot less here.

Very professionally done! Nice test for high iso too. Thanks for posting and pushing what this new camera can do.

They are obviously pro stunt persons.

I can't say enough good things about the 7D. What an amazing little tool.

my only gripe (and its a small one) is that I wish they stuttery / jello / shaky-ness of the vDSLRs could / will be improved upon. Of course there are work arounds and whatnot (more tripod shooting, more stabilizers, a lot of practice and shooting at wider focal lengths, etc)

that is some seriously great low light capability... props

I agree about the jello-ness. I'm gonna have to figure out a good tool to get this thing to shouldermount.

Footage goes in footage section.

Nice looking first half, though. I think It's finally time for me to throw down on the fast Sigmas.

I have found that I actually like the texture of the noise of the 7D as well. Very nice choreography...looks as real as you can get!
