image on word doc question

Hey guys, I wish I would have paid attention in MS word document class.

So I have this image I need to insert into a word doc on the first page (of 30). I know how to insert it, but making it fit the page is the problem.

What I cant do is widen the slide ruler thingy at the top, because when I do, it also changes the other pages which extends the text of those pages (horizontally). So how do I expand the first page for the image without expanding the rest of the pages?

You insert a section break at the end of the previous page, and also at the end of the page you want to change. Then you can make changes to that section without those changes affecting the rest of the document. I'm rusty on it, so you'll have to work it out on your own. But that's the solution.
