It's hard to say I will.. I won a book and never received it from Quest Fest. So what's the point of putting your address in?

It may take me a while to get stuff out at times, and I may be bad about it at others juggling so much.

But, if you don't want to put your address in, then feel free. That would be one way to ensure that you never receive anything if you win it.

I acknowledge that it would be great to be able to get everyone their prizes a week after the fest and that it often takes me far too long. But, on the flip side, folks eventually get their FREE stuff. Unless they wish to be silly and purposefully not enter their address out of spite... then, it's not on me at that point :)

later,
Jason

I am sure you can PM someone about it and take care of it. The point of putting your address in is obvious as it is the only way to receive prizes unless they can be beamed to your GPS coordinates. :cheesy:

Oh, don't worry I'm still putting my address in. Just trying to get an answer from where the prizes are that anyone other than me won are at. Which Jason did answer some of it. Jason - I'll hold you to it. Hopefully I can get it before 2010? I need it so I can win Monster Fest! :)

Sarcasm hardly ever translates properly in text. For example > I haven't got my fantabulous book either :(

Why didn't you guys contact Jason long time ago already?

He is a busy man, so a reminder doesn't hurt, but be kind at it.

Maybe a stupid question, but just to clarify...

Do we also upload our "to-spec" poster (sized as per the rules) through the upload link above also?

Larry R

No, it's a fair question .... yes, you do upload the poster at the same time you upload your film. There are two slots for uploading files, with one you select your film file and with the other you select your poster image file. They will both be uploaded and delivered to our server

Great Larry... thanks! I resized my poster last night to make sure it fit the right specs, but wasn't sure whether posting it in the forum was enough or it needed to be uploaded too. I'll be sure to include it!

Just to be double safe - that means I can upload a poster at the 3.25" x 5" in JPEG format and I don't have to upload a 26" x 40". Correct?

EditPhish

The way I understood it was that it just had to be the same aspect ratio as 26" x 40" (so 3.25 x 5 is fine) and a maximum of 5mb. I actually did mine a little larger and did it 8.66 x 13.33.

"H.264... either .mp4 or .mov" I don't know what "H.264"

Does anyone know how I can make this happen? I wanted to upload my film, but right know I have it in .avi. I think I can convert it to .mp4 but I don't know how to get "H.264". I don't even know much about what that means.

Thank you.
