i have one that i am currently downloading with the author listed being the same as the film title. assume this is the correct version to be watched for approval?

Oh yep (doh) both films are exactly the same media file Jason, the only difference is the poster is included in my second attempt to upload, (and the details for synopsis box is different etc.)

If possible you could use the entered details and film from the first upload, and just the poster then from the 2nd upload, that would be great!

Oh and im a total gimp if i put Rusalka as the author (DOH) the author is Sarah Daly hehe!

the anticipation is the worst part... then the long countdown before viewing is opened. If you've ever bid on ebay, the feeling is akin to when you're just about to win and hoping no one outbids you in the last 10 seconds....

in other news.... the films are being pushed out to the mirrors now, and hopefully soon, you can all begin a halloween eve of viewing.

yup. larry's working on the tech stuff right now... so hopefully not too long... maybe an hour or two :)

yeah, unfortunately... we try to be as lenient as possible, but at a point, it's too late... and, if you upload close to the deadline, it's real hard for us to be accommodating as there are a lot of films for us to go through...

one reason why it's good to upload sooner rather than later if you want to be able to have time to make any corrections...

two of the films were simply an issue of credits. another one was adherence to monster... we were pretty lenient with the monster requirement... sigh :) I jest a bit.. anyways, in this case it was a black and white, specifically prohibited by the rules case, so...

Though, things like that don't discount all the hard work that those folks put into their films, and they did their best to get their film into the fest and made them for the fest. So, we welcome them in the fest as exhibition entries, and encourage everyone to view their work as well, rate it, give feedback, etc as that's the primary function anyways.

I think we might have one more straggler after viewing begins sometime who will be exhibition as well. He had some computer issues and was unable to finish in time. but, when he does, we'll welcome him as an exhibition entry as well...
