Just some lame shots. I'm still recovering from the flu so other than going to Best Buy this morning, I havent been out of the house. So, just some lame shots around the house.
Shot with the 28-135 kit lens (IS on), and 50mm f1.8 II. All handheld (obviously), aperture wide open and all the zoom lens shots are either all the way wide or all the way zoomed. Tried to keep the shutter around 1/50th except for the 50mm which was as high as 1/400th. ISO stayed between 100-400 depending on the lens and the shot. Picture setting neutral. 1080-24p. Recorded to a 8GB Sandisk Ext III CF card. Edited in Vegas, no CC, rendered to 720-24p wmv 6MBps.

I'm very impressed with the 28-135 lens, way sharper than I thought it was gonna be with decent bokeh. Glad I got this kit, I thought it was gonna be a waste but it might be one of my goto lenses till I get some L series glass!
I think that's about it... and again sorry for the lame shots. But I'll get some cool stuff this week once I start moving around. Next weekend I have a music video shoot with this camera... YEAH!!!! I'll post some clips from that as soon as I get back from it.
EDIT: Funny Story: I almost got the GH1.
I have been waiting on preorders from Newegg, but every few days they keep pushing it back. First it was 10/01, 10/06, 10/09, 10/11, now it's 10/16. I have a music video shoot that starts on 10/16!!! I have the T1i, which I have shot a music video with but it's too much of a pain in the ass and unless you can keep the ISO 100-200 it looks crappy. I have the HVX200a... but honestly the whole DSLR thing has got me SPRUNG (adj. slang: obsession often mistaken for love). HVX??? WHAT??? I don't wanna be seen with that bloated fatass camera with the itty bitty 1/3" chips, what do I look like a freshman film student? A behind the scenes videographer at a Lionel Richie music video? The douchebag with the "pro" camera at his Godson's 1st birthday party? That's so last summer, I'm over it, what ever.
So anyway, since the GH1s are showing up sparodically, it's been tempting me. I go on the Panny site and it's in stock... I like the GH1 in 720p mode, I think it looks great and has other cool things going for it that the 7D doesn't. I'm about to place my order when I decide I should try the Best Buy that is literally 1/2 a mile away from me. I get the friendliest freaking Best Buy employee I have ever heard on the phone and she's is just more than happy to check and see if they have them... that's an iteresting omen, Best Buy employees have always treated my like I have "Pretend I'm Invisible and Ignore Me" tattooed across my forehead. SHE FREAKING HAS EM! I ask her if she has 2, she says yes! SHE asks if I need her to hold them for me... if I wasn't all ready married I would have shown up with an engagement ring! HELL YEAH my little angel in a Blue Polo Top, HOLD EM, put daddy's name and number on em just incase! She asks when I plan on picking them up, I tell her "look up sweetie, see the fat Indian trotting through your front door waving at you..." Ok not really, I had to brush my teeth, down some antihistamines and decogestants and grab a handfull of cough drops. I'm recovering from the flu and I don't need the other customers treating me like a monkey with ebola... stupid H1N1 paranoia! So after telling what seemed like 35 different blue and yellow wearing mofos repeatedly that I DO NOT WANT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, I got my 7Ds :*)
