did you have IS turned on with the lenses? looked super jittery like it was stepping thru the pan.

no IS. the wind was crazy strong on the roof when I shot it

The 7D does appear to be slightly better than the 5D at 1080p30.
Great test. Looks fairly identical to me.
The jitter looks like something went wrong with the 24p conversion. Good example of a pulldown error. The same jitter that happens when you drop a 30p sample into a 24p timeline.

thanks guys. would hardly call that genius. lol. but thanks. pretty close, almost identical. I certainly would not worry about it, was just curious if there is a difference at all btw the two, for my type of shooting not a problem at all (I had no problem using the D90 either, which has the worst rolling shutter of all). If rapid movements are a must, gotta go with a CCD sensor.
