Not sure if this is the right spot, but i need to add about 5 seconds of black before a clip after i knocked off the bars and slate.

I've found you can drop in a separate movie on the track just of the slug. I don't think I had to compress it or anything either.

Best done in FCP before going to DVDSP. Otherwise it's a re-encode step for DVDSP.

You can just leave the timeline empty after B&T, or drop in some slug.
