MacFuse NTFS and FCP

I want to know if it's possible to edit with a hard drive NTFS with FCP and MacFuse. I know that Avid doesn't recommand having MacDrive enabled while AVID is running, but is there any such of advice I should know about MacFuse and FCP.

It's not like I'm gonna use NTFS drives for big project, it's just that sometimes, in a hurry, I have to retouch something and I'm a lot faster with FCP than AVID. So I woul'd be able to do the task without sending the file in a NTSF drive to a MAC. Or loose time doing it in AVID.

I've been using it for a while now without any problems though I've never edited a project on one of the drives.

From everything I've read it works pretty much flawlessly
