Feature length suspense/thriller is looking for a cinematographer with excellent hand held camera skills and experience shooting 35mm color and 16MM B&W. The two leads are significantly shorter than average so we require a DP 5'3" or less. Ideal candidate would also know some sign language as the director is hearing impaired. 30 day shoot begins mid October. Finding a director of photography who is talented is hard... no less one who is under 5'3" and knows sign language. The 5'3" DP/Cam op must be strong as hell to completely handhold a 35mm film camera for an entire feature. Unless it's the Arri 235, it's gonna be killer. They might as well add 'knows fluent German, can juggle and is a vegetarian.'
What a joke.
