Anyone try Windows Vista P2 drivers on Windows 7? Do they work? Any issues? Looking to load Windows 7 on a Lenovo S10e Netbook that we use for offloading P2 cards. Thanks..

Yes, I am running Windows 7 and have a generic P2 reader. Editing with CS4. Works fine.

When you say generic p2 reader, what do you mean? I am wondering if the Panasonic p2 viewer and drivers for PCMCIA will work so the laptop can read the p2 card directly. Thanks.

I dump from my HVX202en onto my 64bit Windows seven using the drivers shipped wth the camera. You wont have a problem

Most drivers for Windows 7 are the Vista ones.

cheers

Are you using a P2 card in a PCMCIA slot on the laptop or with the Addonics adapter or are you connecting the Camera directly to the PC using a USB or firewire cable? I cannot get Windows 7 to recognize the P2 card when inserted into the Addonics adapter in the Expresscard slot.

Check out this thread. Its for XP but perhaps the same process will work on Win7.
