It's been a while since I tried to play around with scene files. Today I've tried to load some files for experimenting and don't seem to get the SD card properly formatted. When I format the card in the camera, then move to PC to dump some of the Panasonic files onto the card, the card shows completely blank. Isn't there a file structure that should be in place after formatting the card? If I move scene files onto the card as is, I get the NG error in camera. Please point me in the right direction.

Thx
Steven

You should be able just to save your scene files to the card in P2 Viewer; it'll give you the file structure you need.

You need to save at least one scene file from the camera on to the card after formatting. That gives you the file structure you're looking for. You then simply replace that scene file with the one you're trying to add.

Thanks guys, I'll give it another shot.

edit: Ah, I also was forgetting to rename to SCENE1, SCENE2, etc.

Do you know if these scene files for the HPX170 will work with the HVX200A? I have already downloaded the 200A scene files from Panny, but there seem to be a few additional here. Thanks...Dan.

The 170 has some slightly different settings. You cannot directly use a 170's scene file in a 200a.
