Good to hear. I've turned down three different gigs (so far) with my 300 because I couldn't shoot on one 16 GB waiting for my two 64 Es. Hopefully soon.

David -- rent cards! Gotta be some DVXUsers down in Little Rock that you can network with and rent some cards to cover you until your 64s come in... somebody in Arkansas, hook David up with a backup plan for some cards...

Lately all the calls are usually the night before "Can you shoot this tomorrow?" I've been editing pretty steady so at least I've been working. Starting next week will be a different story since the edit project is done - but maybe mine will be in.

Ah. Rats. Was hoping DVXUser could come to the rescue so you wouldn't have to turn down any more work...

I made several P2 friends in KC through a local film group, none of us rent anymore, they just stop buy when they need something and I do the same to them, works out really, really well if you respect thier equiptment. Not just for P2 cards but other stuff as well. I'll pick up stuff from them at 10pm if I have to be on the road early, better than a rental house :)

You know this is a good idea, some sort of list for card rentals in local areas is a great idea. I would not rent any of my other gear, but the cards are pretty indestructible. I have two 32s, two 16s, and a 8 in Minnesota.

Try cragislist..... it works for me.
I've got 4 people who I borrow cards from if I need an extra one or two, sometime I rent from them depending on how much I'm getting paid. Sometimes they need my card and if I'm not shooting, why not?
