Hi everyone,

I am new to both the hvx and these boards. I have two questions. Both are in regards to a scene I shoot the other day on the camera.

1. what is the difference between the video cam and the film cam settings? I ask because this setting accidentally got switched about half way through the day and I need to know what repercussions this may have.

2. At the end of the day I dumped both of my p2 cards onto an external drive, but when I went to transfer them into FCP only one of my two p2 cards would register in the log and transfer even though both show up on the external? what am I doing wrong here? (luckily I have not lost any of my footage as I have yet to reformat the cards)

thanks in advance for any answers.

1) Only certain functionality (types of interval shooting, shutter speed style, etc.) being enabled/disabled. If you didn't notice anything during the shoot, then you've got nothing to worry about.

2) Not sure; might want to ask in the FCP section.

Cheers David! Greatly appreciated. I actually found the answer to my second question from an editor friend of mine. I renamed the 'contents' file, which is a big no-no i guess. Alas there is always more to learn in this world, even when one fancies them self knowledgeable.

As both of my questions have been answered this thread can now be considered closed, at least on my behalf.
