I downloaded the 250mb MP4 of Dublin and imported it into Premiere. Because it is 24P I couldn't get playback on my Sony L5 HD CRT monitor. So I converted it to 25P... and wow!

Even accounting for the compressed 250mb MP4 it looked fantastic. The aliasing seen on the Vimeo is virtually non-existant. I saw a little on the wide in the pub and on the brickwork with the juggler but it's not objectional. I so glad I'm offloading my D300 to get this camera. If you can, download it, import the clip and play onto an external HD monitor.

There are artifacts on the juggler's nose and face, but remember this part is 720p "overcranked," as in, shot at a faster frame rate and played on a 24p timeline.

I wonder if that is partly to blame, and if so which part(s)?

You need to download the unedited 92 MB clip that Philip uploaded on his ExposureRoom account. That's unedited, so you can do a better evaluation of the camera's quality.
