Greetings to all
Worship leader in a local church and want to be able to record praise and worship with 2 camera views. Was close to getting HMC 150 (for first camera) until GH1 caught my eye becuase we could afford two GH1's for the price of the HMC 150.
I have a Zoom H4n for audio and was wondering how the GH1 would capture the worship (team) platform from around 50 feet back compared to the HMC 150?
Additionaly, I really see how the 35mm DOF adds an amazing character to the close up shots of say an acoustic guitarist. Would that movement by the stumming create focus problems because of the fact that the guitar (and strumming hand) is maybe 10-12 inches out in front of the vocals (head/body)?
Drums are a concern as well for the same reasons.
