I want to buy a GH1, ND filters, cards and a tripod for video shooting. Can you recommend a dealer for the whole package? (Need not be in stock just now.) Favorite budget fluid-head-tripod-kit recommendations appreciated also.:dankk2:

There's some other threads on budget tripod kits in the hardware section of the GH1 forum, look around.

B&H photo is generally the best place to order from out there (they dont take orders on the weekend though so wait till monday.) The Gh1 is out of stock most places but the other components, ND filters, tripods, etc, you should get at B&H. Because the camera is in such high demand the only places that will be selling bundles are grey market scam dealers. Don't buy from them.

I recommend Sandisk Ultra II SDHC cards (class 4 but work amazing.) Best deals I've seen on those are at Costco. If you are a member and have a local one that's great because you don't have to pay for shipping.

Once you start looking into prime lenses, the Cieco7 adapter on Ebay is the best one, I have it to Nikon, and have some fast Nikon primes.

I saw some tripod posts, I'm still not sure what to get. Are there any other dealers you like? Will I pay a premium for Sandisk Ultra II SDHC cards? No Costco. Would you say that I absolutely need primes to shoot my no-budg feature? I was going to use the stock lens. Thanks much for your reply,

Do you have much low-light stuff or indoor stuff in your film? What are you doing for audio? What lights do you have?

The stock lens does not do too well in poorly lit indoor areas like houses, unless you open tons of windows, add some lights, etc. Also you need to get really far away from the subject and zoom in to get really shallow DOF with the kit lens.

I will consider getting the the Cieco7 adapter. What prime would you recommend, if you had to pic one? I am thinking I will spend on the Beachtek for audio, do you like that solution? Also, what is a good guerrilla lighting solution? Again thank you much,

Pretty much all the questions you're asking have been answered in numerous threads. It would be easier if you made your questions more specific. Otherwise we're just throwing out more generalities that have been discussed already.

Sorry, just wondering what your you guys would pick for me (prime-lens-wise). Whether you like the Beachtek solution and a good, cheap, guerrilla-light. Thank you again!
