Can't playback p2 clips

I just had my hvx200a in for servicing and upon getting it back I started having problems playing back my p2 clips. If I film a clip then switch the camera into mcr/vcr mode I can play it back fine but as soon as I turn the camera off then back on all the clips I have previously shot will show up with a big red x on them. The camera is in the same recording format as the clips were shot in and they still offload to my pc and playback alright in Premiere but I'm wondering what may be going on or causing this? Thanks.

There's nothing normal about that at all. No menu setting would cause that! Try charging your internal battery (plug it into AC and leave the power off for at least four hours) and see if that helps. If not, I'd report it back to service.
