This is a montage I made to send to companies as part of a portfolio, where I have mixed together new footage and some stuff from my other montages.

Loved it man!
I used to skate so i have a big appreciation for skate vids. Oddly i noticed the HMC150 has become quite popular with skateboarding. Which is good i think.
When that guy does a nose manual to a hardflip off that arc thing and when the guy does a manual to a heel flip off oh man i seriously said out loud, "Ohhhh!!" ha. I enjoyed it man. what settings did you have on your 150 when filming some of this stuff, do you recall? was it color corrected?

ps the 360 flip and frontside flip on that gap (curb) were sweet, two of my favorites when i used to skate :/

great vid man. Loved it!

That's very nice.

Note to self: next lesson - use of Apple Color. Looks lovely.

Thanks very much guys! Really appreciate the positive comments and glad its going down well, I'm planning to send this to some snowboard production companies this week to see if I can work with one this coming season.

Ryan - I really agree. The hvx was very popular at one point but it seems now that alot of people are choosing the hmc over the hvx for many reasons, lower price, lighter weight, and mainly the fact that you dont have to be taking a laptop around to keep offloading your P2's, which is much more practical seeing as I get worried enough carrying around all my gear without carrying a Macbook aswell.

Some of it was shot with the settings neutral, but with Matrix on Cine-Like, Knee on Low, and Gamma on B.Press. I think the majority was shot with this scene file.

Detail Level = -3
V Detail Level = -1
Detail Coring = +2
Chroma Level = +2
Chroma Phase = +2
Color Temp Ach = +0
Color Temp Bch = +0
Master Ped = - 30
A. Iris Level = -1
DRS = Off
Gamma = B Press
Knee = High
Matrix = Cine-Like
Skin Tone DTL = Off

And I color corrected it in Color, took ages for me to work everything out and get something I liked, I've recently moved from Premiere Pro/Magic Bullet Looks.

What dolly are you using and what tripod?

And I'll recopy what I pasted onto your vimeo:

I normally despise skate videos but this was pretty damn awesome. Love the color correction for the most part. The one where they keep jumping across the street where the dolly goes as well is nice.. very golden and warm looking. I don't like the second shot though.. looks a little too blue/purpleish? IMO
