Coincedental?! I research this camera having only heard the name and HD associated with it. Figure out it's the camera I want, but it's out of stock everywhere. Then come to find out, dvxuser has a huge community around this thing and I find out it's in stock again today. Booya.

Me too. I chased several of these without any luck... until today. Somehow, despite the fact that I didn't see the post until nearly 1:00 PM (EDT), I got one of the B&H GH1s. I received the shipping notice around 5:00 PM.

I ordered one from amazon. however i am having regrets about haven ordered it. i really just wanted to try it out. anyone interested in getting it off my hands. i am in LA. it will arrive in like four days.

y ru regretting ? U haven't even received the cam yet
its just that i am happy with the camera i have now. and i also prefer the look of my current camera. i just needed a camera to shoot a couple shots here in there. In hindsight i should have just rented it for the few scenes i do need it for.

You can turn it around easily, just mark up a hundred or two for the trouble (and shipping). You shouldn't have a problem getting rid of it if that's your choice.
But if you're going to, definitely do it before the supply gets too good.
