View Full Version : HDC-HS300 vs HMC150

I bought the HS300 about a month ago and have been VERY happy with it, but need a second camera with more professional features, abilities and looks. (Yes, if you're doing work for pay it IS important that your gear LOOK professional whether it affects the final product or not.)

So I'm planning on buying the HMC150 and can't wait to get it and use it, but I'd like to get an experts opinion/observation of the differences I can or can not expect to see when comparing the Panasonic HDC-HS300 to the HMC150.

I have made some goofy/silly test videos using the HS300. What good it will do for comparisons, I'm not sure, but here they are. Please keep in mind that these are in now way "creative" efforts. And the odd music they have is simply to replace the original audio.

A lot of goofing around with Magic Bullet and ProDAD too.

I must say that camera does produce clean images...

It would be hard to really compare unless they were raw examples... Seems like it would do the job when its shooting well lighted scenes. Will most likely not have the low light capabilities of the HMC.
