Would this PCMCIA reader work for P2 transfer?

is PCMCIA to usb, would this work to transfer P2 cards or is usb too slow?

Right at the bottom of the page you link to it says that if you need to do P2 then you need a different product, in their case one for a desktop.

You might need the adapter that is compatible with 32bit PCMCIA cards in order to work, but don't quote me on that.
