Backfocus on EX3

I have tried to use a Tokina 70-300 with my EX3, with an adapter. Closeups are sharp, and infinity is a little bit fuzzy. Change of f-stops and NDs has minor effect. It might be the lens, hooked up to my Nikon D200, the lens seems sharp. But on the D200 its not so much magnification.
If I understand the manual right, is it possible to manually adjust backfocus on EX3 for a manual lens?
Is this possible?
