Hi,
I am just starting out with animation after working with motion (all be it the basics) for a while and I am looking to buy Adobe After Effects CS4 Mac, but have a couple of technical questions.
I edit using FCP and with an EX1 (XCAM footage - native gop) - I have heard there may be a problem using all three in conjunction as CS4 doesn't support the codex. Could you help please?
I have searched online, although have only found one forum which recommends converting to ProRes422 and importing into CS4.
Will this effect the quality of the end result and what settings would you then use to encode to SD DVD - seeing as i've had so many problems trying to get great results!
I wondered if someone might be able to help.
