Getting pretty good results now shooting in lowlight with my new scene file:

gamma = hdnorm
knee = low
matrix = cine
master ped = -7
detail = +2
vcoring = +2
chroma level = +2

i decided on the hdnorm gamma over the cine gamma because i prefer a more contrasty look with colors that pop and a bit sharper image.
i probably didn't need to add that +2 detail for these shots though, the moon has a fake outline, but it worked fine in most all my wedding shots.

worked well for my last wedding shoot (will post samples soon) and thought i'd take a couple shots of the moonrise to show the noise levels....which i think are totally acceptable.

these shots taken at 1080_24p with NO gain and iris wide open.

Truthfully. I dont remember. But one thing I do in low light is raise Master Ped to 0 or so open iris all the way..and shutter should be as fast as possible. Makes it a little sharper and seems to cut noise. I always find it neat that shutter speed greatly effects color in very low light. I will change shutter speed several times during filming sunsets and then use the best footage in post.

Example:
Look at this pic compaired to the first one im my previous post. Same shot this one is faster shutter. No color corections all raw screen shots.
