Was that all shot on an HMC150? I enjoyed it. I am no pro like some people on this board, but I thought it was good.

Cool stuff! I film alot of high school football and basketball too (vimeo.com/mattrobertson) shameless plug lol. This will be the first season where I have my hmc150 though so I can't wait! I can tell you used the fcp smoothcam filter on a few shots huh? What shutter speed was this shot in? Did you just roll with autofocus?

Thanks guys!

ProAmateur: Yes everything was shot on the HMC150.

MattRobertson: Yes, I used the smoothcam on a lot of the shots. For the football scenes, I used 1/120. For everything else I used 1/48. I should have used 1/120 for the whole thing though, because the 1/48 shots had some nasty blurring issues! I used autofocus for the whole thing. I was surprised how fast it was.

colors and sharpness look great dkam! Good edit too! That said, give the 720/60p recording setting a try. Your slow mo will be amazzzing

Thanks! The reason why I shot 30p is because I'm doing a documentary for the school and I wanted to match up the footage with everything else that was shot. I'll definitely give 60p a try next time though.

Yeah I hear ya, 60p matches up really well with 30p though, so I wouldn't hesistate to give it a try ;) For me in final cut pro, sometimes what i'll do is just shoot everything in 60p so I have the options for slo mo in post, and just work in a 30p timeline
