New York GH1 users

Shouting out to all GH1 owners in NYC ... anyone out there?
Would love to hear from you in this thread ... connections, rentals, DoP, shooters or just helping eachother out.

I'm not in New York and I don't own a GH1, but your post seemed lonely so I decided to say hi. I think after Sept/Oct you'll have a lot more people with them. We're all just waiting for these damn things to actually get shipped.

Hey man. Im on Long Island and always down for a shoot. Im on the list for a gh1 so hopefully I'll have it within a week or so. I also have an HMC150, some lighting, Dolly, slider, and some other random gear. I'll PM you my info.

Hi NYC guys, I think this could interest you if you want to go out with the gh1 and make short pieces:

I am looking for videographers from around the world for a music-oriented news piece. I work for a tv station in Quebec. The videographers are asked to work on a 2 minute 30 seconds web transfered news pieces. It's every week and it's paid. You can reach me at submissions at iscoops.org

It's a weekly assignment.
Can be multiple pieces of an event or just one.
Pieces are 2 minutes and 30 seconds
Content: can be related to covering a music show, film, premiere or cultural event.
The crew: consists of you, shooting and being in front of the
cam ( you tube style) doing interviews, vox pop.
The target is (18 to 35 years old) so it's funky and raw.
The finished piece is transferred via internet in a compressed
SD format.

I'm without a camera for the next few weeks to a month and if I get a gig I want
