Is it possible to do timelapse in camera with the GH1? If not, how does one do this without spending a lot of money. thanks very much :dankk2:

Started a thread on this a while back. There's nothing in camera, but you can get decent intervalometers from ebay from overseas. I'm going to be getting a trigger unit from Harbortronics. Their stuff is a bit pricier, but rugged and way customize-able.

I came cross this old thread after reading yours cause I'd like to do time laps too.

some affordable options are the JJC, Phottix, and Delamax units. I think I might go for the Delamax or Phottix (they look the same) as it appears to be a universal unit?

actually i think its your old thread Special FX...ha so why didn't you go this route?

I went to the Phottix site, and I can't figure out what intervolometer to get. I know that this seems to be the best Intervolometer for my purposes (Rolling Sky Plates for VFX), but I don't know what connector I need. Please help.

Thanks

Get the JJC timer that's what most people have and it's what I've ordered last week

Hi Phil - Which model did you order and from whom. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks

I got the same one. No problems... yet. Not the best build I've ever seen but so far so good.

I just ordered mine. FYI - I used the built in Intervolometer on my D700 to shoot skies for the WB film Jonah Hex. It'll be in theaters in June 2010. Check it out. And thanks for you help.
