Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with the Z1U?
I am used to film with a DVX 100 but this week end I am going to be using a Sony Z1U, filming HDV. I know it seems not the ideal cam for a lot of users but I have no other choices.
I am not familiar with this camera.
What would be the best settings with the Z1U for a possible HD upgrade of the footage or a possible transfer to a film print.
I have read in some forums to be careful with the "soft focus" around the edges.
It seems pixels breaks down...is there a way to avoid this?
I am not so worried about the color since we have a post house doing the color correction but I want to make sure I have the best possible settings for a possible upgrade to HD or Film.
If anyone could share some of his/her experience that'd be great.
