I'm working right now on a reality webseries playing on teen.com that we used two HMCs and a Canon HF200 (b-cam) to shoot on. Having worked on several aspects of the project I can say that I absolutely LOVE the camera in the field for it's ability to shoot run-and-gun so easily. However, in post its a whole other story...we transcoded over 100 hrs of footage in FCP onto about 5 TBs of storgae on a main computer...then had to make offlineRT files for others to view the footage as the editor sees it. Anyway now that we're over that hurdle I am definately happy we went with the HMC150...it gave us big budget results in a tiny package...

here's the link to the show...http://www.teen.com/ksm/ksm-episode-1/

Let me know what you think!

Wow...that looked like it would of been so fun to shoot. This is why I use Vegas. No transcoding.

Nice looking footage and probably a great job but have to turn the audio down as this kind of chick pop band thing really grates on the old rocker ears of mine. I know this is what pays the bills but seems very manufactured and not genuine... Your production values and content look fine enough and congrats. Not sure if you have it yet, but the cheap opeka fisheye for 200 bucks would probably add a world of options to your shooting...

awesome. looks like fun!

one note, looked like you're using some kind of LED on-camera light for those lowlight shots of the girls talking into the camera....i'd gel it warmer instead of leaving it bare at 5.6k. their faces look too blue compared to the lighting in the rest of the frame.
