The Landmine store owned and operated by the same folks who brought you DVXuser, REDuser, Scarletuser, DVXFest, etc, etc.
The Landmine Store is coming soon. (about a week or so).
The Landmine Store, will be the new official place to purchase the DVXuser Battery, t-shirts, keychains, and unique products and gear for filmmakers.
The purpose of the Landmine store is to service members of all of our sites from one place, utilizing a robust, online shopping cart system with improved customer service and response time.
We will be offering the dvxuser battery, and some reduser t-shirts immediately, with some new products and merchandise coming down the pipe all the time.
If you have any questions, comments, etc in the meantime... feel free to ask here, or in a new thread or whatever. The store will be live hopefully within a week with dvxuser batteries in stock.
Later,
Jason

Hi Jason, any chance in the future there may be an HMC battery?
Jason Ramsey

we looked into this... I believe, currently an hmc150 battery would require it's own charger, so that probably wouldn't be very attractive...
But, we'll definitely keep our ears open and if anything changes to where we can bring a no hassle battery, that is high quality, and at a reasonable price, we'll definitely try to do so...
so, short answer is no... at least not right now. sorry.

Thanks Jason,,, the CGR style dvx battery is so close to the HMC one, its only a matter of where the little tangs are moulded on its underside which determines whether or not it can slide into place, when I unpacked my HMC 152 last week after receiving it, I put my DVX battery and HMC battery side by side and they are physically identical apart from the way it clicks in. As far as the charger goes its the same too, anyone with a Genuine Panny HMC charger would still be able to utilise an aftermarket battery, the same way we do with our Landmine DVX battery.
I can't really see it being a major problem. At present there are no alternatives to the HMC battery bar the Genuine Panny $250 one,, major costly pain!

thanks for the info... We'll definitely keep looking into it.
but we won't be selling any battery that doesn't meet good quality standards and do what it is supposed to simply to make a profit. Not the way we roll :)
The hmc150 batteries are a bit different in that they are "intelligent" batteries that communicate with the camera to give proper and accurate read outs and what not, so there are some things internally to be considered. And, again. Unless we could offer one that did the same things the panny battery does and is of high quality, but lower cost, we won't offer one at all.

Hey Jason,
My batteries turned up today but there were only 2 batteries in the box? When i said i would take the 4 batteries that you offered me!
''1. Ship you 4 batteries (instead of 2) via priority international (usually 6-10 days). I can do this today.''
I just want to see whats up? thanks from Stewart MUnro

Hey, Stewart. Sorry about that. Looks like someone else received 2 extra batteries they weren't expecting, so I might have gotten mixed up there. Will ship you the other two soon.

I'm just wondering how long shipping to Canada is, I need some batts in the next few days and I'm wondering if this is an option
Jason Ramsey
01-17-2010, 09:45 PM
few days is hard to canada... priority is 6-10 business days, and express is a bit quicker, but I couldn't guarantee that fast. We aren't allowed to ship batteries via global express guaranteed, which would get it there on time...
