Log and Transfer Utility for MAC

Is anyone using the Log and Transfer Utility for MAC Version 1.00 (http://www.sony.ca/xdcamex/software/XDCAM_EX_Log_and_Transfer_Plugin_1_0_0.dmg) to import their EX1 files into FCP? Does this workflow work better than others?

If you upgrade to FCS3, Log & Transfer is now much better than XDCAM transfer, given its new capabilities in naming files.
