Here's my attempt to document the making of "A Starlit Requiem", from pre to post.
I'm looking to use the rest of August for Pre-Production, September for Production, and October for Post-Production.
08/02/09 - Decided to take the leap into the world of online festivals and pulled out the "box" of ideas that have been accumulating over the years. A story I had written about a vampire who reconnects with his mortal daughter catches my eye. "A Starlit Requiem" is put on the metaphoric stove, to simmer.
08/03/09 - Re-worked the story to allow for a 6 minute short.
08/04/09 - Started first draft of the script. Goal is to have the script locked by this weekend. I want to storyboard it all this weekend and start prepping for the VFX shots I'll need.
08/05/09 - Temporary poster created and added to thread. Script is still on track.
