Hello fellow CG people.
I have a huge favor to ask of someone here. I have a short film entitled Final Hours which exited principal photo last weekend. And I quickly realized I am not efficient enough to model out all the 3D vehicles we need.
Basically, I am asking if someone is interested in modeling out a dropship for the short. Reference photos exist, and there is a lot of creative freedom involved.
Near photo realism is the key here. It's a big task, but I won't need the model for at least a month.
I am already modeling out an Apache helicopter, and an F/A 18 Raptor for the short. Another DVXuser already modeled out an alien for the short. All I am missing now is that dropship.
It's no pay. I would if I could, but it's a really low budget student short. Credit and copy will be given without a doubt.
If you at all interested, jot me a PM and I can tell you more about it.
PS> I use Maya here. Other systems work well too, but porting to Maya would be great for the animation.
PPS> I should also add, this film has already grabbed the attention of a few producers in LA. And it will be sent out to a great deal of Ithaca College's alumni. So, ideally this will get seen by at least a few of the right people.
