JABBERWOCKY
based on the poem by Lewis Carroll

For real this time. It's going to happen. (And so is PANDORA, at some point.)

A few reference images my creature team's using as inspiration as they begin development of the Jabberwocky.
As the poem only describes its "jaws that bite," "claws that catch," and "eyes of flame," I feel it important that we truly capture the essence of those words in the visuals of this piece, and the design of our Jabberwocky.

8/2/09 - Checked out a possible location for the majority of the shoot - unfortunately, in the 10 years since I've gone back in the woods at my Mom's place, the fricking thing has become so overgrown that it's almost impossible to walk through, let alone stage any action for filming. Will check out a location at a friend's house next weekend, as well as a small state park (will probably have to guerilla that bad boy if it comes to it).
Also met with my lead actress - definitely a lot of energy there, she seems to be looking forward to the role.

Yeah, once we actually get out shooting and get some BTS/production stills/images for the poster, I'll probably get someone to make a real one. This was just from a public domain photo I found online.

I don't see it. This happened before and I think it had to do with where the image was hosted or how the line was written?

I don't see it either. Last time chris couldn't see mine was because I hosted it from dvxuser but that's weird he couldn't see it from this site and now that I can't.

Yeah, this one's hosted at here at dvxuser... weird.

Okay.... changed hosting sites for the poster... theoretically should work now.
Hope people aren't expecting too much from this - again, it's just temp.

The research team is in Africa now studying animal locomotion, I dare say this will be the most realistic, hair-raising Jabberwocky ever put to film.
You will believe a Jabber can Wock.
