Using a Letus with relay lens for HPX-300

Hi everybody.

I was wondering what to expect if I were to use the relay lens made for the 2/3" B4 http://www.letusdirect.com/cart/letus-b4-relay-compact.html mount cameras on my 300 with an adapter http://www.mtfservices.com/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.product_details&category_id=2&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=4 to convert it to the 1/3" Bayonet?

I realize there will be magnification of almost 2x (1.833x to be exact) So, lenses are twice as long. But, will the DOF still be that of 35mm?

Yes, probably, but you will likely have spent a whole ton more than if you just got a native 1/3" relay.

I can't imagine that Letus isn't working on one already.

I just got a reply back from Letus and they are working on a 1/3rd inch relay for the HPX. Should be out by the end of August.
