P2 driver not supported by amd processor?

Is anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to install the p2 driver on a dual AMD athlon 64 bit system running windows VISTA and I get the error message "this installation package is not supported by this processor type." I've also tried the 32 bit download to no avail.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

It may need SSE2 or SSE3 instruction sets, the SSE2 is emulated by the AMD processors.
I've not worked with the Windows P2 card driver at all, but would recommend trying on XP and XP-64 if you can before you give up.
