Hey all,

I put together a couple clips of the crazy lightning tonight. Thought you might want to see it. I also wanted to see how the pre-record feature would edit up... Overcranked 60p to 24p.

Thanks for watching.

Awesome looking stuff. I've never had my cam around when this has come up.. or been just too lazy, etc.

I would say you got some pretty awesome demo and maybe stock footage potential.. Just be careful in how you proceed with that.. Cheers for showing... .that's some nice stuff

Great idea, that's a great application for the pre-record function. :)

Nice editing, too - I didn't see any edit points so it feels like a contious shot of a very intense lightning storm ;)

This pre-record feature is absolutely the best when you are shooting a fishing show and or going whale watching or something like that. It's also not a bad thing for documentary/event type shooting... especially if it's just the audio that you need.

Again, this is some great stuff. I would love to be in a downtown Orlando high rise when this is going off... would be amazing and lately we've had some wicked storms.

Thanks, the music is from http://freeplaymusic.com/ - don't go using all the songs up now guys :).

True for the Event footage. I will use it more when out on location, you don't have to worry about missing the 1st few words of a speaker or start of a show.

Yeah I was thinking about getting up on the roof, but not to safe in a lightning storm. A high rise would be sweet.
