Howdy everyone.
For all of us watching the stream at home, I was thinking we could set up a chat instead of just a thread. As cool as the thread was last year, it was kind of annoying trying to follow everything when everyone was posting at the same time, and you'd miss 5-6 posts as you were writing yours. And you all know how much I love AIMing when watching fest movies.
If you are interested, PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite for one of those online chats anyone can join ~1/2 hour before the screening starts.
nm ... Larry is hooking us up with a chat to go along with the stream. Thanks Larry!

Is there another public website that we could start a chat? I know i've seen them out there, but never had a real reason to use it until now. I'm gonna try and make the livecast and chat tonight too.

sure. with the site issues lately, might be a good idea anyways.
We'll have an official thread, and you guys can work something out, if we dont' get something set up first... and then just post it in the screening thread or something.
I'll see if we can't get some kind of official chat page set up or something though, over on dvxfest.

I also believe the video streaming has chat also, I will have to see if it can be archived though.

Yes. The stream has chat and it can be archived. I'll make sure it is activated

I love your idea of the live chat, but unfortunately I am not able to write that fast in English. I also love the idea to watch the screening live this night/morning, but I can't guarantee it, because for us here in Berlin it will start at 5 am and probably we will sleep.

max, I will have a coordinator standing by to show you options for camera placement in the theater. just come find me when you arrive (the earlier the better) and I'll introduce you.

Hi Max,
I heard you did a great job at the screening - compliments :). Is it still your plan to put the recorded night in dvxuser? It would be very kind of you, if you would do it, because I am very interested in it. I slept during the screening and I only know who got which rank. So, I would love the idea to catch up something of the wonderful atmosphere from the screening and also to see which other films apart of the finalists were shown.
