Export back to camera (1080p Projector playout)

I just hooked my GH1 up to my Panasonic AE2000 1080p projector - the result was amazing. The camera recognises the correct resolution and frame rate, and after a minute of calibration looked fantastic.

So the GH1 would make a good playout device - trouble is just simply copying an AVC HD file back to the camera inside the the correct folder (after editing and export from edius using panasonic preset) isn't enough to get the camera to play back the file.

Any ideas on how I get the structure built for the camera? (Edius can export P2 file structure for playback - I'm looking for the same thing.)

You'd want to export a Blu-Ray disc structure or AVCHD DVD structure. I'm not on the editing station and can't look into it right now, but AVCHD uses Blu-Ray compatible file structures (hence why the directory is called "BDMV", for Blu-ray Disc Motion Video).

Ahhh, thanks for the tip. Will see if I can find a workaround for that from Edius.
