I thought you nailed 'Stay Sharp". I remember thinking about the score while I watched it.
I was privy to some early drafts of 'Strange Days' so when I finally heard your score that definitely elevated the mood, nice job.
To be honest 'Miss Laid' was one of the first movies I watched and I really can't recall the score. You can't blame me though, I only have a handful left to watch at most. :)
I'll give it another listen soon.

the nudity of Miss Laid definitely distracted me from enjoying the score :-) but I'll give it another watch (maybe few more times as an excuse) LOL

Thank you so much for your comments !!!
Working with "Stay Sharp" was something special, I get the sense of the film immediately and the score flow up very fast. With "The Strange Days of Joey Davis" I had to work in few ideas before getting the final one, Rodney was looking for a "Mysterious-Dark-Adventure" theme and I had to try different styles.
"Miss Laid" was cool too, I really enjoyed Joe Saba's film and I did a "Sexy-Jazz" score that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
Thank you again for the review.

Strange Days of Joey Davis - Set a wonderful atmosphere. Really supported the story. I love listening to scores when Im driving, reading this forum amongst others. I would love a copy of this one!
Stay Sharp - Followed the theme very well as well as the boys mood. Liked the change at 4:31 when the boy read coloured pencils - you added a layer that suited his annoyance. Overall had that music box carnival feel to it, very suitable. Not sure why but I really noticed the music more in this one.
Miss Laid - Enjoyed the intro piece and the jazzy, club style feel, added to that naughty touch nicely and really set up what we were about to get into. I think personally this one could have used some additional layers. I heard you add these, most evident when the pizza guy comes, we get the sexy sax come in, but just felt it could have used a bit of a change up in pace. Not even sure my poor attempt to put that across makes sense.
