View Full Version : Manual Lens Problem

Hi
I looked through this forum to see if any of you guys had the same problem but didn't find anything. When I mount the Canon FD on the GH1 and turn on the camera I get a black screen and white letters saying:
please check that the lens is attached correctly
I did check it and it all seems fine, tried both the FD mount and the C mount, same thing came up. Then I put the original lens back on, tuned it on and put the focusing to manual and turned it off again and tried again but I always get the same thing. Any clue?

Did you enable the "SHOOT W/O LENS" option in the CUSTOM MENU?

Also make sure you aren't in the Auto mode... that message appears on mine with FD lenses but only in the Auto mode.

The "SHOOT W/O LENS" wasn't on. Thanks guys
