Hey fellas! So I managed to get my hands on the GH1 for a second test. This time it was figuring out slow motion with the 720 mode.
All shots handheld through the stock lens.
For more details, watch the vid! Enjoy!

No 'Iran so far away' as song? Nice footage, did you have to use any NDs? Looks pretty bright there (although not so much on the footage) I'm guessing you just shot 1/120 or another higher shutter?
EDIT: Nevermind I see on your post, f5, .9 ND, 200-250 shutter. Crap that sells it I am getting an ND when I get my camera, if you still had to shoot at high shutter and use a .9 ND!
Great footage btw, already said that but still :)

Look into a circular polarizer and linear polarizer mounted together to create a variable ND. I built one from HOYA filters and everyone I know wants one now.

Sweet...Thanks for the Input Ryan. Yeah, picked up the filter last minute on Sunday so I was kind of in a rush. =)
Totally going to look into your suggestion!

how well does that work?? I am thinking of trying it myself. Specially since I'm thinking on buying a Canon EF adapter that will leave my lenses wide open, without any way to close aperture.
I read else where that this trick might result in blue or yellow tint. Any experience with that?
Also, what densities will the variable filter be able to "simulate"?

nice job man.
the video has a really rich, smooth feel to it

Like I said on the site...great video.
In regards to the polarizer thingy, I have been using two 58mm Hoya circular polarizers on my HV20. It's very good at acting like a strong ND filter. Both my filters have markers on them so I just twist them exactly to where I need them to block the un-needed light. Which of course helps me to open up my aperture to anywhere I want it.

i thought it was supposed to be 1 Circular and 1 Linear stacked together?

Thanks again for the comments Ian! Have you managed to snag one for yourself yet?
