Was filming w/ my relatively new hpx170 today in a recording studio. My regular long-life battery was low on juice so I used a shorter life fully-charged generic battery that I used to use w/ my dvx100, assuming it would work. However while I was filming my camera had a series of blackouts, where it just powered off, and the rear camera light just blinked. I would then power the camera back on, it would record again for a short interval up to maybe a minute, then suddenly power off again. When I went to view the clips, the thumbnails are grey and have an 'X' mark on them. From what I can gather there is no content, and I'm wondering if the card became corrupted during each camera shut off. Also wondering if there is any way to repair the clips? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
